About The Role
As the Business Intelligence & Data Analyst, you will be responsible for migrating customer data from legacy source systems and documents into the Altvia CRM platform. You will also design and implement data visualizations in the Altvia product suite, manage data warehouse strategies and assist in AI-related activation strategies. Finally, you will be responsible for document functional and technical requirements for clients platform usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Data migrations: you will be responsible for extracting client data from sources such as Excel, Salesforce, DealCloud or Affinity. You will conduct a Source to Target analysis, mapping source and target fields. This role will use tools such as Databricks, XL-Connector, or KingswaySoft to write queries and transform data as needed. Finally, you will conduct upload of these data into the Altiva AIM solution.
- Data visualization: this role works closely with customers, product managers, marketers, sales, engineers and senior leadership to define metrics and implement dashboards and reports that drive meaningful insights and inform business decisions for our customers. Your goal is to create a self-service environment that users can leverage to understand how they are performing toward goals and make data-informed decisions. You will also be responsible for making recommendations for improvements, supporting upgrades, contributing to our roadmap for the data we capture and leverage in our analytics, and documenting and rolling out reporting and dashboards to our customer base.
Requirements
- 1+ years in Business Intelligence role. Ideally 1+ years where your primary responsibility is creating self-service content within an Enterprise BI tool such as Looker, Oracle Analytics, Tableau, SiSense, YellowFin, MicroStrategy, Jasper Reports, Cognos or Excel
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Ability to create Functional & Technical requirement specification documents
- Analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills
- Dashboard development with a keen eye for design and data organization
- Ability to interact with customers, gathering requirements and turning them into meaningful reports
- ETL experience with tools such as Kingsway Soft, Visual Studio
- Ability to train and communicate to customers and internal users on reports and dashboard product offerings
- Knowledge of excel, including pivot tables, lookups, etc.
- Ability to assist with quality assurance of data and reports
- Strong writing skills to author customer facing documentation and knowledge articles
- Experience with time tracking and preferably in a Project Management tool like Wrike
- Preferred: Knowledge of basic database and data warehouse concepts and query syntax, SQL expertise

The base compensation for this role is market-competitive, starting at $75,000 annually, DOE.
