As a Business Development Representative, you'll generate business leads, make high volumes of calls, manage existing leads, and collaborate with your team to achieve sales targets.

We are seeking a driven and curious Business Development Representative to help accelerate growth by generating qualified sales opportunities. In this outbound-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for many prospective clients—identifying pain points, sparking interest, and setting meetings that convert.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and data driven. You’re a self-starter who takes ownership and is scrappy, resourceful, and adaptable—ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage key decision-makers at private capital firms
  • Research and identify high-potential firms aligned with Altvia’s ideal customer profile
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach sequences that resonate with PE/VC buyer personas
  • Qualify leads based on firm profile, technology stack, pain points, and timing
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives and Solutions Consultants
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and campaign strategy

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of outbound sales or SDR/BDR experience (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence navigating conversations with senior-level executives
  • Self-motivated, organized, and hungry to exceed goals
  • Familiarity with private equity or venture capital a plus (but not required)
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar sales tools a bonus
  • Strong collaboration skills—you work well with your marketing team peers, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.
  • Superior copywriting and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot, Salesforce, Canva, User Evidence (or similar), generative AI tools, and project management tools like Notion
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and transform it into actionable insights.
