In this role, you’ll primarily be assisting inbound schools and districts interested in purchasing Wayground. In addition to owning and surpassing sales targets, you’ll be an instrumental part of a growing team working to better support organizations that are engaging millions of students in class and at home.
What you will do...
- Source new pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting across phone, email, and social channels.
- Identify prospect needs through brief discovery style conversations and route qualified prospects to an account executive.
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas through structured outbound activity.
- Conduct research (district priorities, financials, tech landscape, initiatives) to personalize outreach to book meetings.
- Maintain excellent CRM hygiene to ensure all leads, touchpoints, and follow-ups are logged accurately and in real time.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop prospecting plan according to the needs of the territory
- Be effective and confident on cold calls using clear openers strong hooks and concise discovery to create interest.
- Write concise, high-impact emails that resonate with educators, administrators, and district leaders.
Who you are...
- 0–2 years of outbound sales or business development experience (SaaS preferred but not required).
- Curious, persistent, and hungry to grow — you thrive in a high-activity, feedback-rich environment.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to craft clear, value-led outreach.
- Confident on the phone — able to engage prospects with empathy, handle objections, and uncover needs.
- Data-driven and process-oriented: you track activity, analyze your metrics, and use insights to improve.
- Able to communicate effectively with educators and school/district administrators.
- Passionate about K–12 education and mission-driven technology. Experience working in or selling to the U.S. K-12 education market is a plus.
- Familiar with CRM tools, sales analytics platforms, and scheduling tools.
Salary Range
- $55K–$60K per year, plus variable compensation.
