As a Business Development Representative here at Honeywell, you will drive growth and expand market presence for PSS software by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic sales plans. You will leverage your expertise in software solutions and market dynamics to deliver impactful results that align with Honeywell’s business objectives.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s Software Solutions business by increasing revenue streams, enhancing customer engagement, and positioning PSS software as a leading solution in the market.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for PSS software within target markets to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans that align with Honeywell’s overall business goals and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure successful product positioning and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Proven experience in business development within the software industry, preferably with software solutions similar to PSS.
- Strong knowledge of market analysis, sales strategies, and client relationship management to drive business growth.
- Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives and market demands.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms to track performance and optimize sales efforts.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50% throughout the West Coast
- Ability to lead and drive a solution sale presenting to C-Suite teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts in the software sector.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and technology trends is a plus.
The salary range for this position is ($100000-135000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This role is INCENTIVE eligible
