About the Opportunity

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, you’ll join a collaborative sales team focused on helping prospective clients succeed. You’ll build relationships, generate sales leads, understand and qualify customer needs, uncover business opportunities, and support Account Executives in winning enterprise accounts. What to expect?
  • Prospect and engage new business opportunities through strategic outreach and qualifying customer needs.
  • Conduct prospect research and confidently engage senior decision-makers (including Directors, VPs, and occasionally C-level executives) in target accounts.
  • Support Account Executives by building the sales pipeline, nurturing leads, scheduling discovery calls, and driving client acquisition efforts.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and the marketing team to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Keep the business pipeline organized using CRM sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
  • Own pipeline and sales targets, and help drive revenue growth to achieve revenue targets.
  • You may be required to travel up to 10% of the time
What do you need to be successful?
  • Previous BDR/SDR Outbound or Inbound Business Development Representative experience (Spanish Bilingual Business Development Representative experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to qualify leads, articulate value to potential customers, and support sales representatives.
  • A self-starter mindset with a competitive drive to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable using sales technology Salesforce, Zoominfo, SalesNav, Outreach, and utilizing metrics.
  • Genuine interest in engaging prospects, e-commerce brands, marketing tech and global brands.

Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: $82,000 OTE (70/30 split)

[This position is eligible for equity awards, annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards, where applicable, in accordance with the terms of Contentful’s variable compensation plans.]
