We're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team at Arpio. You'll be working directly with our Senior Manager of Demand Generation to help scale our outbound sales efforts. You'll have meaningful input on our go-to-market approach and help shape how we connect with new prospects as we continue to grow
What You'll DoCore ResponsibilitiesYour goal is to generate sales pipeline by delivering quality, qualified sales opportunities to the Account Executive team.
- Lead identification: You’ll find every lead who is a good fit for Arpio, from individuals in our own CRM who have not yet become customers, to those who have just downloaded our content or visited our conference booth, to cold leads who fit our Ideal Customer Profile but are not yet familiar with Arpio.
- Lead outreach: You’ll reach out to the lead promptly via cold calling and other relevant communication channels to schedule a meeting for the AEs. You’ll research the prospect, develop and test messaging, set up outbound cadences, and create other engagement strategies to attract and convert inbound interest and key target accounts.
- Lead handoff: You’ll respond, qualifying leads to determine fit and readiness, and coordinate handoff to AEs, including scheduling the first meeting.
- Build the Playbook: You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other teams to shape our BDR messaging and prospecting approach.
- Be Data-Driven: Maintain accurate CRM data and leverage sales tools to optimize workflow and measure performance. You’ll measure and document what works to help the team succeed as we grow.
- Take initiative beyond traditional BDR responsibilities, such as assisting with content creation, organizing events, or conducting growth experiments
- Represent our brand as the first point of contact with prospects
- Track and optimize key metrics, including outreach volume, response rates, and meetings booked
- Sales Ambition: Strong desire to build a client-facing career in sales, marketing, or CS
- Prospecting Experience: 3+ years of prospecting work experience in B2B SaaS
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to inform, instruct, and persuade diverse audiences
