Project Description

eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking Senior Business Analyst to support and lead projects across the organization, with a particular focus on healthcare interoperability initiatives that enable secure exchange of health information across systems, healthcare organizations, and care settings.

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis activities for complex healthcare interoperability projects, working with clinical, business, technical, vendor, and healthcare stakeholders to define requirements, support solution design, analyze data mappings and workflows, and help drive projects through implementation and go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities for healthcare interoperability and digital health initiatives.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Analyze and document data mappings between source systems and target solutions.
  • Work with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR.
  • Collaborate with business, clinical, technical, vendor, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, meetings, and working sessions.
  • Document decisions, action items, and outcomes.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Identify process gaps, opportunities, and impacts of proposed changes.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of integration, interoperability, data exchange, and business-process issues.
  • Develop business process models, workflows, use cases, business rules, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, reports, and senior-leadership briefings.
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Coordinate and support system, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Support QA, implementation, deployment, and go-live activities.
  • Support technology evaluation, procurement, and implementation.
  • Support organizational change management and stakeholder-impact assessments.
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation activities.
  • Provide leadership and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and changing priorities.

 


Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

 Healthcare Business Analysis

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience within a healthcare setting.

Data Integration / Interoperability

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on data integration or interoperability projects.
