Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Burmese Translator and Copy Editor to join our team. In this role, you will focus on translating and editing content to ensure high-quality language adaptation for Burmese audiences. The work will involve diverse types of content, including informational, legal, marketing, product service, and support materials.

MAIN DUTIES
- Accurately translate written content from source language(s) to Burmese, maintaining the original meaning and tone.
- Perform meticulous copy editing to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency in Burmese.
- Adapt content for cultural and linguistic appropriateness to suit the Burmese audience.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Conduct quality reviews of translated and edited materials to ensure compliance with project guidelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Native or near-native proficiency in Burmese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in at least one source language (e.g., English) for effective translation.
- Proven experience in translation and copy editing, particularly with Burmese content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with informational, legal, marketing, product service, or support content.
- Proficiency in translation and editing tools or software.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience working with technical or specialized content.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques for localized content.
- Previous experience with localization projects targeting Burmese audiences.
