Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Sling TV Brand Marketing team is accountable for driving the brand strategy, planning, messaging and consistency across the marketing organization. A big component of brand marketing includes the designing and execution of the experience plans. These campaigns are used to create a strong brand halo that improves perception and ultimately drives new customer acquisition.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Lead annual brand planning, communication plans, and strategic content pillar development from inception through deployment
  • Lead Brand TV and digital advertising campaigns, including creative asset development, creative brief creation, financial business cases, internal routing, consumer testing, and video production
  • Act as the primary point of contact for creative agency partners to develop integrated creative ideas and experience plans that span the consumer journey; lead the SOW development process for project-based or Agency of Record (AOR) partners and manage weekly status meetings
  • Partner with Go-to-Market and other cross-functional teams to develop and deploy strategic marketing initiatives; collaborate with the Consumer Insights team and internal agencies to develop marketing messages and claims for new products, services, and offers
  • Manage the brand marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, accruals, and optimization of total brand spend
  • Mentor, coach, and develop direct reports to help them reach their full potential and achieve career growth

Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Ability to parse diverse data sets to reach actionable insights that drive business outcomes
  • Exceptional capacity to influence and collaborate across functional groups including Consumer Insights, Product, Programming, Go-to-Market, PR, Legal, and Finance
  • Strong interpersonal expertise that fosters team partnership and maintains organizational enthusiasm
  • Resilience and agility required to thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments while managing multiple high-priority deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in AI-driven data analysis or marketing automation tools to optimize campaign strategy and execution

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, strategy, production, or campaign management (must include TV production experience)
    • 2-4 years experience managing teams
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • End-to-end complex brand campaign management
    • Creative agency partnership and workflow management

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
