Position Summary
As a Brand Designer on the Marketing Studio team at Yahoo, you’ll support a wide variety of creative needs, from digital marketing campaigns to large-scale events, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. You’ll bring Yahoo’s brand identity to life through a range of design assets, adapting to the diverse demands of each project. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact creative initiatives, working closely with a dynamic team to develop versatile design options that align with project goals. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute design concepts for a variety of creative needs, primarily focused on digital marketing campaigns and events, including web banners, email marketing, social media assets, and large-scale print graphics.
Present a range of design options for each project, offering creative solutions that allow for flexibility while maintaining alignment with Yahoo’s brand guidelines.
Collaborate with copywriters, art directors, designers, and producers to deliver cohesive, impactful marketing materials.
Refine and adjust design work based on feedback, maintaining high standards of quality, clarity, and brand consistency.
Produce accurate, production-ready files in various formats, sizes, and specifications suitable for both digital and print.
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail.
Support the creation of presentations for creative projects and concepts
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices, including the latest developments in AI design tools, to continuously enhance creative output.
Qualifications
3-5 years of design experience in an agency or client-side environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across digital and event design for various platforms.
Exceptional design sensibility with a strong grasp of visual storytelling.
Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), familiarity with Figma, and experience with AI tools is a plus.
Excellent understanding of digital design principles, including banners and email marketing
Proven experience in event design, including large-scale print graphics that maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively and work collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools is a plus.
Proactive problem-solver with a flexible and collaborative approach to feedback and team input.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent experience preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $96,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
