As an Azure Consultant, you'll help customers design, implement, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments. Working across multiple client engagements, you'll deliver cloud solutions, support modernization initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and help organizations get the most from their Azure investments.

This is a hands-on consulting role requiring strong Azure engineering skills, customer-facing communication, flexibility, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll DoAzure Engineering & Architecture
  • Design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and platform services.
  • Implement solutions using Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Virtual Machines, Storage, App Services, and related Azure services.
  • Support Azure Landing Zone and governance initiatives using Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and tagging strategies.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements for scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
Cloud Operations & Security
  • Manage and support enterprise Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, identity, and security issues.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Implement Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, and security best practices.
Automation & Modernization
  • Build Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
  • Develop automation and CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Support cloud modernization projects leveraging services such as AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Event Grid, and App Services.
Client Delivery
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor across multiple customer engagements.
  • Balance project work, support activities, and consulting responsibilities across a diverse customer portfolio.
  • Lead technical workshops, cloud assessments, and architecture discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer leadership.
  • Remain flexible and adapt quickly as customer priorities, timelines, and technical needs change.
Required Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or technology consulting.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
  • Experience with Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, governance, and infrastructure services.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production cloud environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and consulting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for a Microsoft partner, consulting firm, MSP, or systems integrator.
  • Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and cloud security operations.
  • Familiarity with FinOps and Azure cost optimization strategies.

  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
