ThreeFlow is looking for teammates who are naturally curious and love to ask questions, even when it means questioning industry standards. We cultivate an inclusive culture where everyone can contribute, grow, and feel valued. We’re hiring our first Automation Strategist to shape how automation transforms our operations — identifying repetitive tasks, designing scalable solutions, and embedding them into workflows to deliver faster, smarter service. You’ll collaborate across operations, AI, and cross-functional teams, while leading the automation strategy and execution end-to-end.
This position reports to the Manager, Business Operations Services, and is based remotely within the US.
About the roleIdentify high-impact opportunities for automation within operational workflows, balancing quick wins with scalable long-term solutions.
Design, implement, and maintain low-/no-code and AI-driven automation across tools like ClickUp, Salesforce, Zapier, Intercom, and more.
Partner with the Operations Strategy Lead, AI team, and cross-functional stakeholders to embed automation into our workflows and other service delivery models.
Support the launch and improvement of workflows, including plan/rate collection, quote ingestion, carrier-portal automation, and recurring data quality reviews.
Build and maintain internal tooling, SOPs, and enablement resources to drive adoption of automation by the broader operations team.
Continuously assess and refine automation processes to improve speed, quality, and scalability.
Jump in hands-on to support key operational workflows and meet current commitments.
Deliver quick, targeted automation improvements to accelerate plan/rate collection, data processing, and internal documentation request workflows.
Build context on processes, pain points, and tooling to shape your longer-term automation strategy.
Implement end-to-end automated workflows for plan/rate collection, carrier portal data pulls, and quote ingestion — reducing manual time significantly.
Embed automation into the service delivery model for existing and emerging workflows.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design scalable, repeatable processes — including AI-driven enhancements — that improve speed, quality, and team capacity.
Maintain and optimize automation systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
5+ years in operations, process improvement, automation strategy, or a related field — preferably in insurtech, SaaS, or a fast-scaling environment.
Proven expertise in low-/no-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier, ClickUp automations, Make, Airtable, n8n) and experience integrating AI-driven workflows (e.g., GPT-based prompt engineering).
Experience working with structured data (CSV, JSON, webhooks) and collaborating with technical teams to scope integrations.
Skilled in process mapping, diagnosing inefficiencies, and designing end-to-end workflow solutions.
Strong enablement mindset — able to translate technical solutions into accessible documentation, training, and resources for teammates without a technical background.
Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable leading automation strategy and execution.
Excellent collaborator with the ability to influence adoption of new tools and ways of working across teams.
Please note that immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, etc.) is not currently available for this position.
