Key Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of strategic brand and agency accounts, developing existing relationships and generating new connections across the marketing ecosystem
- Carry a personal sales target, recruiting buyers for the Hosted Buyer Program as well as supporting paid ticket sales for agencies and brands
- Arrange virtual and in-person meetings and presentations with individuals and accounts to deliver registrations of senior marketing, brand and agency contacts
- Meet weekly and monthly attendee acquisition and revenue targets
- Prospect via phone and digital outreach to grow new business pipelines, following up on marketing efforts and leveraging data platforms directly (LinkedIn, HubSpot, ZoomInfo)
- Identify and engage with senior and C-suite executives, confident to understand their key priorities and communicate POSSIBLE's value proposition and portfolio capabilities
- Develop outreach strategy and core messaging, including value propositions, email templates, and onboarding/retention materials
- Analyse audience makeup and identify growth segments, adjusting approach by vertical, seniority, and account type to meet recruitment goals
- Maintain attendance trackers and pacing models, and produce contingency plans when recruitment is off-pace against target
- Be a POSSIBLE advocate, creating your own social presence in line with the brand, responding to community conversations and sparking discussions of your own
- Stay up to date with marketing and advertising industry trends, bringing them forward and contributing to the community roadmap
- Cross-collaborate with content, marketing, events and sales to ensure the community is leveraged to meet team and org-wide goals
- Regularly build data and ensure CRM is updated daily with new leads and opportunities
- Demonstrate high standards of customer service and community building
- Contribute to the wider buyer recruitment playbook, sharing learnings and best practice across the broader show portfolio
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 5–7 years' experience in a targeted, performance-based attendee acquisition, account management, or sales role, ideally within events, media, or the marketing/advertising ecosystem
- Proven track record of carrying and overachieving a personal sales or recruitment target
- Confident senior/C-suite presenter, able to build credible relationships with brand and agency leaders
- Skilled in consultative, relationship-led sales or recruitment approaches
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) for pacing and reporting
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar
- Strong market awareness of the marketing, advertising, or agency ecosystem
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Based in or willing to work from the New York office
Desirable:
- Experience recruiting or selling into agencies, brands, or the marketing/advertising community specifically
- Experience contributing to buyer recruitment playbooks used across multiple shows
- Experience scaling attendee acquisition for a growing or newly launched event
