Next League works with a wide range of professional sports organizations. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing day-to-day operations of these websites. The goal of this position is multifaceted: to provide Team USA athletes with exposure to various parts of our business operations, to leverage your skills as a goal-oriented and adaptable team player, and to create an opportunity for personal and professional growth through the unique lens of sport.

By becoming immersed in live operations, customer success and project management, we hope the fellow will gain a comprehensive understanding of how the sports-tech industry functions and use their valuable skills and mindset cultivated through being a high level athlete.

We are excited to support athletes on a journey of growth and exploration, both within our organization and the tech sector.

This role is a part time role 15-20 hours/week and will pay $20/hour.  Please note that we are looking for someone that has availability during off-business hours from October 5, 2026 – April 2, 2027.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Collaborate with our team to support day-to-day management and content creation during the summer sports season.
  • Support live operations for WTGL and TGL, including monitoring systems and triaging incoming requests to ensure timely resolution, typically during off-business hours.
  • Work closely with experts to learn and implement SEO optimization best practices, content strategy development, and user-behavior analysis. This involves staying up-to-date on industry trends, attending training sessions to enhance your expertise in digital marketing and content management.
  • Actively monitor and respond to help desk requests from external stakeholders. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, providing timely assistance, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Become proficient in Contentstack and provide strategic recommendations for content authoring in a headless CMS, driving efficiency in content management processes.

Qualification Requirements

  • Competition Experience: Must be currently or formerly recognized by the USOPC as a Team USA, Olympic, or Paralympic athlete
  • Have availability during off-business hours
  • High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing and editing abilities.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross functionally with various internal teams.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay up to date on industry trends. Open to learning about website analytics, live event operations and search engine optimization.

Location/Work Hours

This role is 100% remote and must be located in the USA.
