We are looking for an Associate, Strategic Partnerships to serve as a specialized consultant for our oncology accounts. Our team operates under a structured, metrics-driven lifecycle model — guiding accounts through investigative, intervention, and monitoring phases. In this role, you will analyze quantitative health metrics, strategize workflow solutions with account team members, collaborate with care teams and path labs to construct practical workflows, track and shepherd these improvements, and enable autonomy and long-term success through training.
Responsibilities
- Execute metrics-driven support plans across assigned accounts following a structured engagement lifecycle: Investigation, Intervention, and Monitoring.
- Monitor key performance metrics to identify operational bottlenecks, strategize targeted solutions, collaborate with customers on practical and efficient workflows, and track account health toward quantitative thresholds.
- Lead and facilitate key internal and external account touchpoints, internal report-outs, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and customer training.
- Manage account "enablement” – training and upskilling internal field and sales teams to maintain long-term account health.
- Produce and distribute high-quality account collateral, including meeting agendas, executive slide decks, targeted newsletters, and tailored action plans.
- Escalate workflow concerns, inefficiencies, and stalls proactively, collaborating with Manager, Strategic Partnerships to resolve or reimagine tools and courses of action.
- Conduct client site visits (typically ~1 visit per account/quarter) to observe clinical workflows and drive initiative adoption, alongside attending required internal company on-sites.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn, understand, and articulate complex genomic, scientific, and clinical oncology concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data trends, extract key takeaways, and translate insights into actionable account strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect effectively across diverse healthcare roles (physicians, care teams, pathologists).
- Solid project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple account lifecycles simultaneously and execute against critical deadlines.
- High adaptability and organizational agility, thriving in a growing, metrics-centric team environment.
Required Education & Experience
- B.S. in Biology, Life Science, or a related scientific field.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in external Account Management or Project Management.
- 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience using data and analytics to present solutions, inform strategic decision-making, and/or measure outcomes.
- 1 –2 years experience collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, Commercial Operations).
- 1 –2 years experience with Google or Microsoft Suite (e.g., email, documents, spreadsheets)
Preferred Qualifications & Tools
- Experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini) to enhance daily productivity and streamline content generation.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization programs (e.g., BigQuery, Looker).
- Experience using project management systems, tools, or methodologies (Monday.com, Trello).
- Familiarity with oncology EMR systems and clinical pathology workflows.
