As an Associate Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to learn and grow alongside our dedicated Project Management team. You will provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate projects with direct accountability for project delivery. This will include documentation preparation, issue for commitment, and reporting. You may also be responsible for managing smaller projects with oversight from a more expert Project Manager or leader.

The Associate Project Manager will be REMOTE but open to locations close to the client in TX, Atlanta, or Charlotte.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What you’ll do:

• • Assist Pre-Construction Manager in all facets of the pre-construction activities to assist in project administration, vendor management and coordination as needed, including but not limited to:
    • Assist w/ progress tracking/reporting - receive/log deliverables, identify/escalate readiness/variances to PM as they arise
    • Facilitate vendor & project team communication
    • Assist w/ project planning, scheduling and meetings
  • Prepares/initiates simple requests for client funding/vendor proposals, receives and/or processes with PM support.
    • Prepares/Submits Scoping AR’s
    • Prepares / enters initial project schedule
    • Receives AOR proposal and issues initial PO
  • Collaborate/Assist w/ project team coordination/follow up
    • Assist as real estate POC to track/confirm agreements, legal requests and related key dates to align with overall project schedule
    • Assist w/ regular reporting and/or ad hoc reporting requests as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

• PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working understanding in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
