Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities and drive product differentiation.

  • Coordinate forecasting, aligning market needs with commercial, R&D, and operations teams to ensure accurate supply.

  • Collaborate closely with R&D to define and develop customer-focused innovations.

  • Lead development, conduct Voice-of-Customer research, define requirements, and provide business justification for new products.

  • Develop product release plans, including commercialization, competitive analysis, and pricing strategy.

Keys to Success

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences required

  • MBA or relevant product management experience a plus.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related role within the Life Sciences industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong customer focus, ownership, and drive.

  • Proficiency in market analysis and customer research methodologies.

  • Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product features and improvements.

  • Expertise in developing cases and financial models to support strategic decisions.

  • Familiarity with supply and demand forecasting and its impact on business strategy.

  • Self-starter with the ability to create and implement plans with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams.

  • Strong planning skills, and comfortable making decisions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Travel: Up to 25% travel required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $91,700.00–$140,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
