Base Compensation Range: $85,000 – $98,750
*In addition, you qualify for:

 
  • Annual bonus opportunity of 12% based on company performance

 This position supports Mesa' Calibration Solutions business.  Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing.
 
Job Summary
 
The Senior Supervisor, Production Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing multiple production teams and ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This role involves strategic leadership, advanced problem-solving, and collaboration across departments to meet organizational goals. Mentor supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 
 
Duties/Responsibilities: 
 
Leadership and Team Management: 
 
Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and performance excellence. 
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to supervisors and team members. 
Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and succession planning. 
 
Operational Oversight: 
 
Oversee daily operations across multiple production lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and resource allocation. 
Monitor and analyze production metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed operational goals. 
Identify and implement best practices to optimize workflow and enhance production efficiency. 
 
Quality Control and Assurance: 
 
Establish and enforce quality standards for all production processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. 
Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality control procedures. 
 
Safety and Compliance: 
 
Promote a culture of safety and health within the manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. 
Lead safety training initiatives and conduct safety audits to identify and mitigate risks. 
Investigate safety incidents and develop preventive measures to enhance workplace safety. 
 
Continuous Improvement: 
 
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to enhance productivity and reduce waste. 
Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains. 
Foster an environment where team members are encouraged to propose and implement improvement ideas. 
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
 
Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and address any inter-departmental issues. 
Participate in strategic planning discussions to align production goals with company objectives. 
Act as a liaison between upper management and production teams, effectively communicating expectations and feedback. 
 
Documentation and Reporting: 
 
Ensure accurate documentation of production activities, including shift reports, safety incidents, and quality control metrics. 
Prepare and present performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and improvement initiatives. 
Maintain compliance with documentation standards for regulatory audits and quality assurance. 
 
Experience/Education: 
 
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 
•Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a manufacturing environment with 1 - 2 years of team leadership or project management experience. 
 
Knowledge & Skillsets Required: 
 
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards. 
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making. 
Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for tracking production metrics. 
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. 
 
Physical Demands (US Only): 
 
Sitting: Often for extended periods at desks or meetings. 
Standing or walking: Occasionally for meetings or office tasks. 
Using computers: Typing and using office equipment. 
Lifting: Light, less than 10 pounds. 
Repetitive motions: Frequent use of keyboard and mouse. 
 
Environmental Conditions (US Only): 
 
Workspace: Climate control (air conditioning or heating) to ensure comfort. 
Lighting: Adjustable lighting to reduce eye strain. 
Noise Levels: The noise level is moderate, with occasional interruptions from phone calls and conversations. Use non-canceling headphones if necessary. 
Ergonomics: Workstations with desk and adjustable chairs to support good postures. 
Ventilation: Good ventilation to ensure a comfortable working environment, though this can vary depending on the building.
