J.P. Morgan's Equity Derivatives Business is a complex business, serving multiple client bases including hedge funds, corporations and private bank clients, to provide a full spectrum of equity derivative OTC products. The Equity Derivatives Group (EDG) Middle Office is responsible for ensuring all aspects of operations for global clients are completed, including the timely resolution of exceptions across trade bookings, legal International Swaps Derivative Association (ISDA) based confirmations, Markitwire, settlements, regulatory adherence, UAT for system and process enhancements and all aspects of risk reduction and controls. The Middle Office also ensures that client inquiries are resolved and provides subject matter expertise to clients both internal and external.
As a Client Service Associate within the Equity Derivatives Middle Office team , you will be a part of a team that is responsible for ensuring all aspects of operations for global clients are completed. This includes the timely resolution of expectations and their impact to ISDA based confirmations, Markitwire, settlements and regulatory adherence. You will perform all testing system and process enhancements across all aspects of risk reduction and controls. You will be expected to effectively work through tasks of varying difficulty with external and internal stakeholders. You will be required to perform extensive client interaction & therefore communication and partnership skills are required, as well as speaking to Sales & Trading on a daily basis.

Job responsibilities
- Assist Clients with their inquiries on settlements, valuations and generally trade queries
- Assist Sales & Trading with subject matter expertise on operational trade flow and system queries
- Ensure Risk Systems feed to Markitwire and are confirmed
- Ensure Clients are complaint with Dodd Frank EBC Expectations
- Monitor Physical Fails and Cash Settlement Breaks
- Book Novations and execute trade amends as required
- Partner with Technology on Platform Enhancements
- Perform UAT as required.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years experience in Finance Industry
- Proficient in excel
