AgentSync is a powerful, easy-to-use Compliance as a Service solution, directly integrating regulatory database sources of truth (i.e. NIPR, FINRA) with core business systems (i.e. Salesforce) so we can automate the critical business processes associated with these compliance requirements.

We’re a new-school solution tackling an age-old, ubiquitous problem with smart technology and  automation in a market full of inefficient, high-cost solution options - spreadsheets, manual processes, legacy software, more headcount, outsourcing, etc.

Overview:

AgentSync is looking for a sophisticated, business-savvy Associate General Counsel to join our growing legal team. You will bring extensive experience in SaaS commercial and transactional agreements and provide strategic legal guidance across our corporate, sales, and commercial platforms to support the company’s rapid growth and ongoing success. You will be capable of working independently in a high-growth environment while also collaborating effectively with our executive team and cross-functional business partners.

What you'll do:

  • Negotiate and manage transactional and commercial agreement processes and templates.
  • Support and/or oversee other legal matters, including general corporate, intellectual property, regulatory, labor/employment, and litigation.
  • Stay current with the company’s legal documents and operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external parties, such as partners, regulators, and external counsel.
  • Be versatile and hands-on in this fast-paced, startup environment, ready to take on various roles as needed.

Your experience:

  • 7+ years of experience advising on commercial contracts, including at least 3 years negotiating SaaS contracts.
  • 3+ years of in-house experience, with a strong preference for prior experience in a growth startup environment.
  • JD degree and accredited in at least one state.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues and explain negotiation strategies to non-lawyers at all levels within the company.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, combining strategic and operational experience to address the business needs of the organization with a pragmatic, solution-oriented legal approach.
  • A dynamic self-starter and efficient problem-solver with a high sense of urgency.
  • Eager to thrive and learn in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
