Under the supervision of the Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Assistant Director of Strategic Partner Solutions is responsible for supporting Sales Representatives in delivering The Hartford’s HR Technology and Partnership message with confidence and precision during client finalist and local market presentations. This role also involves providing education on The Hartford’s HR Technology solutions and representing The Hartford at partner and market conferences.
WORK ARRANGEMENTS:
This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates who live near one of our offices will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week. Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing education and awareness on The Hartford’s HR
Technology solutions to internal and external stakeholders and clients
- Assists in educating Sales Representatives on The Hartford’s current and future HR Tech strategy & integration roadmap and acts as a subject matter expert in support of inter-department sales training need and communications
- Responsible for partnering with Director, Strategic Partner Solutions, Sales, and Marketing as an input on the go-to-market platform strategy
- Represents The Hartford at key HR Technology regional and national meetings and conferences (including booth management and presentations).
- Works with Hartford Marketing and other stakeholders to provide input into the production of platform collateral (e.g., flyers, videos, webinars, and more for internal and external presentations)
- Supports Sales Education Team to position Sales Executives and Account Managers to develop individual business plans, leveraging our tech value proposition and story
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in the HR Technology market, assesses the impact, and collaborates with Partner Connections Director & AVP on proposed strategy refinements
- Cultivates strong relationships with business partners necessary for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Participates in and/or leads special projects
QUALIFICATONS:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of prior Group Benefits or Tech industry experience preferred
- Licensed in Life & Health preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Demonstrated consultative relationship skills
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel 50% of the time – regional as well as national travel expected
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
