The CostPoint Delivery Manager leads application teams, manages budgets, ensures compliance, drives innovation, and coordinates system operations and data management for business services delivery.
Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is looking for a CostPoint Delivery Manager to lead our Deltek CostPoint and IFS application teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and delivery of services to meet cross-sector business requirements along with managing and developing applications, ensuring seamless operations, and driving innovation in three key areas: CostPoint Development and Extensions, CostPoint Application Administration, and IFS Application Development and Administration. The Delivery Manager will lead the teams with responsibilities for planning, program execution, system operations, compliance, O&M support services and modernization initiatives and the candidate is required to have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams.
• The Delivery Manager is also responsible for the development of an effective planning process that aligns to the execution of an integrated operational schedule, encompassing all aspects of the Deltek CostPoint/IFS Program (patches, upgrades, technical fixes and automated testing) across both platforms. This position will also lead change management processes working with business and IT leadership to incorporate an appropriate impact analysis and approval for such changes across the program team.
• The Delivery Manager will coordinate all data transfers and exchanges required by upstream and downstream systems, and will partner with other IT teams on data management strategies and execution.
• Further, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for driving rationalization and automation of processes and solutions, as well as efficient use of resources across all business sectors, while maintaining service levels. Additional responsibilities include compliance of COTS and home-grown applications and underlying tool sets ensuring the applications and tools are vendor supported.
• The position is responsible for managing budgets and ensuring performance against that budget. The candidate must establish strong partnerships with finance and procurement.
• This position requires a broad range of experience, including customer management, service delivery, leadership of diverse teams, and the ability to employ both directive leadership style and leadership through influence.
• Proven ability to establish direction, implement a vision, and outline appropriate strategies that support the overall business objectives. Is considered a trusted partner and has built and effectively sustained the relationships with the business leaders.
• Strong ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, shape, gain commitment to action, and be decisive at all levels. Strong communication skills with experience leading effectively in a matrix organization and collaborating with other departments to work toward a common mission.
• Mindset of service and product ownership and end-to-end accountability.
• Should be able to discuss, put into practice in-depth theory regarding efficient delivery of business solutions across a diverse, related portfolio of customers.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor's degress is required with 10+ years of experience leading a geographically dispersed team• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously• Ability to learn and apply new technologies such as AI, IoT and digital transformation concepts
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Fluency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different regions and cultures• Strong business acumen and understanding of technical requirements.• MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred• Should be able to discuss, put into practice in-depth theory regarding efficient delivery of business solutions across a diverse, related porfolio of customers.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
