Owns end-to-end solution delivery, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, architecture design, AI-native development, iteration, and production deployment. The role independently delivers moderately complex solutions, identifies system and workflow improvements, and contributes to team standards. Candidates need 2–4 years of experience in solutions, technical, product, or systems roles and a proven record of delivering AI-built solutions.
The summary above was generated by AI

The Solution Architect owns the full cycle of solution delivery — from direct user engagement and requirements gathering through design, build, iteration, and production. Using AI as their primary build engine, Solution Architects are outcome-driven problem solvers who eliminate the traditional handoff between design and development. They are not code generators. They are architects of working solutions.

This role exists because the future of software delivery belongs to people who can think in systems, communicate with humans, and build with AI — all in the same motion.

Level Definition

Scope: Moderately complex, cross-functional problems  |  Autonomy: Independent with check-ins  |  Complexity: Moderate

What This Role Does

· Engages directly with end-users and stakeholders to understand problems, surface requirements, and define success criteria

· Designs solution architectures that are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs

· Builds and iterates on solutions using AI-native development tools and workflows

· Owns the solution from first conversation to production deployment

· Continuously shortens the cycle between problem identification and working software

· Identifies opportunities to improve existing systems and workflows through AI-enabled solutions

Responsibilities at This Level

· Independently gathers requirements through direct end-user engagement

· Designs and delivers solutions of moderate complexity with limited oversight

· Manages their own delivery cycle from requirements through production

· Identifies gaps in existing solutions and proposes improvements

· Contributes to team standards and shares learnings across the function

What Makes This Role Different

Traditional software developers are code generators. This role is different by design. Solution Architects are not measured by lines of code written — they are measured by problems solved and solutions shipped. AI handles code generation. The Solution Architect handles everything that requires human judgment: understanding the problem, designing the right solution, and iterating until it works.

Qualifications

Experience

2–4 years in a solutions, technical, product, or systems role; proven track record of delivering AI-built solutions end-to-end.

What We're Not Looking For

· Traditional software developers who use AI to write code faster

· Specialists who design but don't build, or build but don't design

· People who need full requirements handed to them before starting
