Position OverviewWe are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level APEX/Database Developer to support ongoing database development and Oracle APEX application initiatives. This role focuses on building simple, functional database solutions and user-friendly applications, with an emphasis on clear communication and understanding business requirements rather than deep technical complexity.
1. Database Development
- Design and develop database schemas for small-scale applications
- Create and maintain Oracle APEX applications (version 20+)
- Develop simple interfaces for data selection, display, and basic operations
- Maintain and optimize existing database structures
- Translate business requirements into effective database solutions
- Build functional APEX applications with minimal complexity
- Develop user-friendly interfaces for basic data operations
- Create simple forms, reports, and data views
- Ensure applications meet business needs without over-engineering
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout development
- Explain technical concepts in business-friendly language
- Provide regular progress updates and reports
