Seer is a remote first agency and Certified B-Corp with team members working across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in our HQ office, Philadelphia. We can only consider candidates based in the US who are able to work continental US based hours.
The Role: We're looking for a contractor to support our growing Paid Media Marketing Analytics Support (MAS) practice. You'll work directly with paid media clients to ensure their tracking infrastructure is accurate, reliable, and optimized for campaign performance. This role is critical to maintaining client satisfaction and enabling data-driven decision-making across paid channels.
Role Highlights
- Implement and QA tracking pixels across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, programmatic, etc.)
- Set up and validate conversion tracking for paid media campaigns
- Troubleshoot tracking breaks and implement fixes with urgency
- Conduct quality assurance on campaign tagging, UTM parameters, and attribution setup
- Support clients with event monitoring and proactive issue detection
- Participate in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday team calls to align on sprint priorities and blockers
- Assist with server-side tracking implementations (CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, etc.)
- Support closed-loop reporting setups connecting ad platforms to CRMs or analytics tools
- Work with platform APIs to automate data collection and validation
- Collaborate on custom reporting dashboards and data pipelines
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with paid media tracking and analytics
- Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and major ad platform pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, etc.)
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting conversion tracking across multiple platforms
- Understanding of UTM parameters, campaign tagging conventions, and attribution models
- Ability to QA tracking implementations and identify discrepancies
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on tracking implementations
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple client requests
- Experience with server-side tracking (Conversions API, Enhanced Conversions, etc.)
- Familiarity with APIs (Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API, Shopify etc.)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Looker Data Studio)
- Experience with marketing data platforms (Funnel.io, Supermetrics, etc.)
- Previous agency or client services experience
Bonus Points
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch (formerly Adobe DTM)
- Knowledge of ecommerce tracking and enhanced ecommerce implementations
- Experience with Tableau
- SQL or basic scripting skills (Python, JavaScript)
Compensation and Hours
- This is a part-time contract position. This role will require approximately 20 hours per week.
- Working hours in this role are flexible with a preference for candidates who are available to join team meetings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3pm - 3:30pm EST.
- The compensation for this role will be based on experience from the range of $45-50/hr.
