Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst, Finance & Controlling plays a key role in supporting the Magna IT team in managing the business and improving the overall financial performance.
Your Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the Financial Controlling processes of assigned IT functional and regional areas. This includes monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, business planning, project accounting and capital expenditure tracking.
  • Monthly financial result reviews with IT global service managers.
  • Creation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Creation of forecasts and budgets in close cooperation with the IT managers.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyzes and presentations for management and functional departments.
  • Participate in analyzing financial impact of various new initiatives and/or renewals of current supplier contracts.
  • Participate in service pricing calculations as required.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience

Your preferred Qualifications
  • Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Pronounced affinity for numbers and analytical way of thinking.
  • Knowledge of international accounting (IFRS/US-GAAP) is an advantage.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of software with advanced excel skills; SAP (FI / CO) knowledge would be an asset
  • Experience working in a global team would be beneficial
