OVERVIEW:
The Analyst – Audience Strategy is responsible for important day-to-day audience programming by leveraging a growing understanding of DICK’S data models and tools to support the audience team projects portfolio. This Analyst supports Senior Analysts and Audience leadership team by participating in daily audience project work, developing best practices, monitoring segment quality and operations, and recommending corrective action as needed.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesCampaign Set-up, Execution, and Maintenance- Responsible for day-to-day audience programming by setting up campaign activities in a timely and accurate manner with single channel expertise.
- Utilize analytical tools ( MS Excel, Databricks, Adobe RTCDP, Adobe AJO) to perform basic data manipulation and analysis to create targeted customer lists for direct mail and/or email campaigns which increase customer relevance and drive ROI.
- Leverages audience database to support campaign objectives with growing knowledge of data models and business logic rules.
- Partners with audience team to optimize segments within each campaign. Makes intra-team recommendations for improving targeting, measurement, and process.
- Monitors audience segment quality. Connect with audience team to align on corrective action and/or next steps if issues are identified.

- Partners with Senior Audience Analysts with input for key strategy development and analyses
- Conduct other ad hoc analysis and tests as required for Audience Strategy or broader marketing department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, statistics, engineering, economics, or math major
3-5 years data analysis
Experience with any of the following helpful: SQL, Databricks, , Adobe tools (RTCDP, AJO)
