BlackRock’s Americas Client Business(“ACB”) manages the firm’s relationships with financial services firms, financial advisors, and institutional clients in the U.S, Canada, and Latin America. ACB represents the full suite of BlackRock strategies across the whole portfolio – including ETFs, managed accounts, alternatives, portfolio solutions, outsourced CIO, and sub-advisory mandates. ACB’s mandate is to deliver “One BlackRock” to our clients.
The Head of AI and Data Transformation will be responsible for leading strategy and oversight of ACB’s AI and data efforts. In this role, you will work as a horizontal leader, driving outcomes with partners across functions and the firm to optimally deploy BlackRock’s AI and data resources in support of the ACB and our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an AI thought leader for ACB, developing strategies that accelerate business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce risk.
- Build trusted relationships with internal partners and represent the interests of ACB to BlackRock’s broader AI and data organization.
- Deploy AI and data to better serve our clients, including identifying client trends, anticipating client needs, and better enabling distribution teams.
- Collaborate with various business partners across BlackRock to create roadmaps, set business goals, and successfully project manage outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends re: advances in AI and data to inform strategic pivots and ensure the business remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Educate the broader business on the benefits of AI and establish a data-driven, results-oriented culture of success within ACB
Your Experience
- 10+ years of work experience, experience in wealth management or investment management preferred
- Experience managing AI and data projects
- Ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation
- Ambitious and proactive – able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting
- Technical aptitude, understanding technology in a business context
- Experience working with distribution teams across multiple functions
- Sense of curiosity and the courage to ask tough questions
- Bachelor’s Degree

Our hybrid work model
