We are seeking a curious, tech-savvy AI Marketing Intern to help bridge the gap between marketing content and large language models (LLMs). This unique internship blends marketing, AI, and prompt engineering. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and innovation teams to prepare and format Extreme’s documentation, campaigns, and messaging so that it can effectively influence major generative AI platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, Google Gemini, and others.
Key Responsibilities
• Audit and identify key content (e.g., product datasheets, white papers, competitive positioning, FAQs, web pages) to be converted into LLM training or prompt-ready formats.
• Design and test prompt templates to deliver accurate, brand-aligned answers from GPT-based tools.
• Feed relevant documentation into fine-tuning pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, or prompt libraries to align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Conduct tests using AI chat interfaces to validate the effectiveness of prompts and suggest improvements.
• Work with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, support) to prioritize which topics, products, or messages should be most emphasized within AI tools.
• Help develop a system or playbook for maintaining and updating prompts/content across LLM platforms.
• Track and report on outcomes—such as improved AI-generated answers about Extreme’s solutions.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Passion for AI, LLMs, and how generative tools are reshaping marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and brand voice.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLMs.
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering, LLM behavior, or NLP tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional input.

• Experience using AI tools in content generation or research.
• Exposure to Markdown, JSON, or structured data formats.
• Understanding of enterprise networking or cloud technologies.
