About the teamAs AI transforms how we work, we’re looking for a technically skilled and facilitation-savvy professional to join our Technical Talent Development team as we scale AI applications and leverage across the enterprise. In partnership with our AI leaders, this role will lead the design and delivery of AI-related learning experiences, ranging from live demos and hands-on workshops to team-specific enablement sessions.

About the role

Unlike traditional L&D roles, this position requires deep curiosity and competence in AI tools and techniques — especially generative AI — along with the ability to simplify complex topics, engage diverse, international audiences, and drive real-world application.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

You are passionate about technology and eager to see others embrace AI as you have. Maybe you are currently an engineer who uses Cursor and Codium to increase your output and work more efficiently. Maybe you are a technical product manager who is deep into Replit and leads workshops for your peers to help them increase their skillsets. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your technology background in a different way - to help us create an AI-powered organization and build for the future.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the Head of AI, Tech Talent Development team, and business leaders to define and deliver our enterprise AI learning strategy.

  • Build an AI enablement and change management strategy to increase AI quotient and velocity across the enterprise and more deeply within our technical organizations.

  • Design and facilitate engaging, scalable, hands-on learning experiences that build AI understanding,  confidence, and velocity across the organization.

  • Leverage AI tools in new ways to deliver scrappy, creative, and just-in-time development solutions in easy to digest formats.

  • Lead live demos, practical workshops, and team-specific enablement sessions on AI tools and use cases for multiple teams per week. This includes a wide-variety of clients across the enterprise (sales, tech, shared services, etc)

  • Support teams in identifying opportunities to pilot and implement AI solutions in their work.

  • Curate and continuously evolve a toolkit of AI learning resources — including internal playbooks, prompts, and training guides.

  • Translate complex AI concepts into accessible, actionable learning for both technical and non-technical audiences in our most strategic functions: Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design (PEMD).

  • Stay on the leading edge of AI trends and tools; synthesize developments into relevant, timely learning content.

  • Contribute to nurturing “AI champions” across departments to scale adoption organically, providing them with resources and facilitation support to amplify impact within their teams.

  • Stay on top of trends, how other companies are scaling AI and recommend ways that Zillow can improve the way we are educating employees and managers to enable them with AI.

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in a technical environment (engineering, technical product management, etc)

  • Direct experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and applying them to real-world workflows in cross functional teams

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLMs, or AI use case development

  • Proven ability and passion to simplify and teach complex technical topics - formally or informally - across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong facilitation or storytelling skills; confident leading demos, build internal how-to guides, or hosting team workshops

  • Experience driving org-wide change, enablement, or tool adoption at scale, ideally in fast-moving and/or matrixed environments

  • Comfort working scrappily and iteratively - adapting formats (Slack threads, videos) to meet people where they are

  • A curious, self-starting mindset — you learn new tools and technologies quickly and enjoy helping others do the same

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; you build trust and drive outcomes across functions

  • Bonus: Experience creating training content, coaching peers or new hires, or leading communities of practice - even if it is outside of formal L&D roles
