About Hightouch

Hightouch is an Agentic Marketing Platform powered by the industry-leading Composable CDP. With complete brand context, customer data, and performance history in one place, every marketer can build and ship end-to-end campaigns themselves — moving faster, staying on brand, and getting AI marketing that actually works. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco, Hightouch was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms and is trusted by leading enterprises including Domino's, Spotify, Aritzia, Cars.com, Ramp, and PetSmart.

Our team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

Hightouch Ad Studio lets enterprise marketing teams generate on-brand ads at scale with AI. Our Forward Deployed Creative team sets those customers up: building brand context, training their teams, and proving what's possible during a 90-day pilot. But the interesting problems don't stop when the pilot ends. A customer needs a hero shot the model keeps getting wrong. A seasonal campaign needs a fresh set of styles by Friday. A video output almost works, and someone has to figure out why it doesn't.

That's where you come in. You'll be the hands-on creative problem solver for customers already live on Ad Studio, working the stream of specific, varied asks that come in after onboarding: fixing the last 10% of an AI-generated asset, rewriting prompts until the motion output lands, and testing small context changes so customers get the results they expect. You'll work alongside our Forward Deployed Creatives (FDCs), who triage and route requests to you and stay close to the customer relationship, so you can focus on the craft. To customers, you're an extension of their own design and support team: the person who fixes the asset, and then shows them how to get it right next time.

This is a role for someone who likes solving many different creative problems in a week rather than owning one big one for a quarter. You'll get deep reps across image and video models, across dozens of brands, and across the product itself, and what you learn goes straight back to the FDC and product teams.

What You'll Do
  • Take on creative requests from live Ad Studio customers, routed to you by FDCs, and turn them around with care and speed

  • Make last-mile fixes to AI-generated creative and build the hard-to-create assets a customer can't get on their own

  • Troubleshoot and rewrite prompts to improve static image output, and diagnose why a motion or video result isn't landing

  • Handle smaller style and context changes, like a seasonal campaign refresh or a new product line, then test the output to confirm it holds up

  • Recognize when an ask is beyond a small fix (a rebrand, a full workspace overhaul, a product bug) and route it to the FDC or the right support path

  • Keep FDCs informed on what's recurring across accounts so they can address root causes in onboarding and brand context

  • Put together educational materials for customers, such as recorded video walkthroughs (Looms), short guides, and examples, covering new ways to prompt, feature updates, and the fixes you find yourself repeating

  • Share what you're learning about model behavior with the FDC and product teams

What You Bring
  • Strong AI prompting skills: you've spent real time with current image and video models, you know how to get a specific result out of them, and you know what to try when the first ten attempts don't work

  • Hands-on creative ability across static and motion: you can open the file, fix the asset, and make it match the brand yourself

  • Creative judgment you can explain: you can tell when an output is off-brand or just off, and say why in plain language

  • Comfort with volume and variety: you'd rather solve twenty different problems in a week than one big one, and you stay organized while doing it

  • Clear communication, written and on camera: most of your work happens in Slack, but you'll also record training videos, so you need to be comfortable explaining AI concepts in language a marketing team will understand, and explaining what you changed and what to try next

  • A collaborative streak: you work well alongside FDCs and ask for help when an ask is bigger than it looks

  • Marketing craft fundamentals: Hightouch is a marketing platform first, so you understand layout, hierarchy of information, and what makes an ad thumb-stopping, and you can apply that whether the output is a static ad, a video, or an email

  • A feel for compelling motion: you know what a strong video hook looks like in the first second and how to build a sequence that holds attention, and we'll look for this in your motion work

  • Experience designing emails or ads is a plus; the work starts with ads and will grow into email and broader marketing campaign creative

  • 2+ years of hands-on design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance), though we weigh the work far more than the years

  • A design portfolio showing exceptional craft in both static and motion AI work (a link is required; we review every one, and it's the biggest factor in our decision)

You Might Be a Fit If You Are
  • A designer or art director at an agency or production studio who has become the person everyone sends their AI generation problems to

  • A motion designer or video editor who has been using image-to-video and generative tools in real client work

  • An in-house creative on a brand or performance marketing team who ships a high volume of ad variations and has built your own prompt library to do it

  • A freelancer or independent creator with a body of AI-generated work and a knack for getting models to do exactly what a brief asks

  • A retoucher, compositor, or production designer who has added generative tools to your kit and enjoys the detail work

If none of these describe you but you have the work to show, we'd like to see it.

What This Role Isn't

You won't be leading enterprise customer relationships, joining sales calls, or running onboarding. Our FDCs do that, and they stay in the loop on every account you touch. You will still talk to customers, mostly in Slack and in the training videos you record, so you need to be comfortable representing Hightouch clearly. You also won't be doing technical platform support, which is handled by our Customer Success Engineering team, and there's no on-call or night shift: requests come in during business hours, and so does the work. This role is about improving the creative output our customers get from Hightouch's AI tools.
