The Administrative Director of Finance, within the Franciscan Health team, prepares and approves the annual budget for the Finance Department, analyzes financial data, and develops and implements business plans. This position, in addition, oversees and manages projects impacting operating margin.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Will work out of one of our closest Franciscan facilities in Indiana.
Advise department and Franciscan Alliance staff on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial forecasting, cost analysis, and program review, to ensure consistent application of principles.
Analyze and review programs, projects and process changes, to determine financial impact and provide recommendations for increased financial success.
Analyze financial data and monitor variances, to ensure accurate financial presentation.
Identify legal, reimbursement and tax issues, and government reporting requirements.
Oversee and manage projects that impact the operating margin of FPN, Post Acute, and PACE to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
Review and analyze finance programs and processes.
Fund Allocation Reviews project requests for related expenditures and budget, to prioritize and allocate funds.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Finance or Accounting - Required
Master's Degree Business, Finance, or Accounting or related - Preferred
10 years Finance or Accounting in a physician practice/healthcare setting - Required
Understanding of post-acute reimbursement mechanisms - preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State Licensing Board - Preferred
Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - HFMA - Preferred
Healthcare Financial Management Association Certification (HFMA) - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) - Preferred
Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) membership - Preferred
