Accounts Receivable Analyst

One80 Intermediaries is searching for an Accounting Analyst who will report to our office in Colorado Springs CO in a hybrid capacity 2-3 days per week.

You will be responsible for the handling of broker/agent receivable collections.

Your Impact:

• Closely monitor broker/agent receivables and follow up with brokers/agents for collection of overdue receivables. Recommend notice of cancellation to underwriter or assistant, when deemed necessary.  If necessary, will put into outside collections
• Apply funds received from all sources to the appropriate insured accounts which includes lockbox, electronic, credit card and check payments.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies before applying the funds. Work with underwriters to correct billing discrepancies.
• Timely clear balances in unaccounted accounts and clearing/suspense accounts
• Post direct bill carrier commissions

Successful Candidate Will Have:

2 plus years of experience in Accounting; Insurance Accounting or banking experience preferred

Ability to communicate clearly & professionally

Ability to learn new technologies and proficiency in Excel is a plus

Ability to manage a fast-paced, challenging work environment

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $59,000.00 - $65,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
