About the Role

Join Mark VII and help shape the future of manufacturing. As an Account Manager for MARK VII Equipment, you'll be the central leader of the accounting department, managing and overseeing all daily operations from AR/AP to the General Ledger. A critical function of this role is producing precise monthly financial reports by monitoring and analyzing accounting data. You will also manage the full month and year-end close process and adhere strictly to all company accounting methods and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, AR, AP, GL.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing monthly financial reports.
  • Follow Wash Tech’s accounting methods and accounting policies.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
    • Month and year-end process
    • Accounts payable/receivable
    • Cash receipts
    • General ledger
    • Payroll and utilities accruals
    • Cash flow management
    • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis by department
    • Fixed assets
    • Etc.

Qualifications

  • 5 + years of proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
  • Experience with SAP required
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • BS degree in accounting or finance
