Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for sales customers, ensuring regular touchpoints to assess customer satisfaction and operational performance.

- Manage commercial aspects throughout the pre-sales, development, and post-SOP phases to address any commercial challenges.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Solutions Engineers (Software & AMR), to understand customer issues and improve AMR & Software suite offerings.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profit, and market growth targets in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to establish and manage the sales process, including CRM configuration, sales metrics, dashboards, and review meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Create, lead, and execute customer strategies to secure targeted business within Magna's divisions.
- Lead the quote process, working closely with divisions to understand their requirements and ensure accurate and comprehensive submissions.
- Understand and effectively communicate customer needs to engineering and product development teams.
- Utilize creative negotiation skills to resolve commercial challenges, seeking team or manager support when necessary.
- Ensure purchase orders and customer authorizations are accurate and properly processed.
- Recommend pricing strategies and process efficiencies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure deliverables and timelines are clearly communicated and met, both internally and with customers.
- Provide first-line support for general customer inquiries and updates.
- Regularly update engineering and operations teams on project status and customer feedback.
- Maintain an entrepreneurial approach, embracing ambiguity and seeking out innovative solutions.
- Perform other duties, support special projects, and tasks as assigned.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management within robotics or automation industries.
- Strong experience with robotics and software commercialized as a service, with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with a consultative sales approach.
- Skilled in documenting and reporting updates and current onsite activities.
Special Knowledge / Skills Required:
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive innovation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and hands-on experience.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in setting up data-driven sales approaches and fostering partnerships.
Special Knowledge / Skills Preferred:
- Familiarity with AMRs, AGVs, or other autonomous vehicles.
- Understanding of SaaS-based services and their commercialization.
- Salesforce or similar CRM tools
