This posting is for future opportunities. We are seeking qualified candidates for roles that may open in the coming months. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and candidates may be contacted when a role opens.

Overview

GovWorx is seeking a mission-oriented Account Executive to join our fast-growing sales team. With a rapidly expanding customer base and one of the strongest pipelines in public safety technology, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact while building a rewarding, uncapped career.

Each Account Executive will own their territory and be responsible for developing new relationships with 9-1-1 communication centers, law enforcement agencies, and local government partners.

This is a full-cycle role for experienced public safety software professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments. You’ll have full autonomy to manage your territory, deliver product demonstrations, and close deals — with no cap on commission and direct access to GovWorx’s founders and product team to support your success and your customers’ outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Ownership & Prospecting:
Own your region and actively identify, research, and engage prospective customers. Build relationships with decision-makers at 9-1-1 centers and public safety agencies through outreach, meaningful conversations, and value-based selling.

Demonstrate the Power of CommsCoach:
Deliver live, high-impact demonstrations of CommsCoach, GovWorx’s flagship AI-powered solution for 9-1=1 quality assurance, training, hiring and performance improvement. Confidently highlight its features, analytics, and automation capabilities while connecting them to real-world challenges faced by communication centers.

Consultative Sales & Solution Alignment:
Lead thoughtful discovery sessions to understand each agency’s workflows, pain points, and objectives. Present tailored GovWorx solutions that help them elevate performance, strengthen retention, and modernize training operations.

Pipeline & Forecast Management:
Manage your deals from first contact to close. Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and follow-ups using HubSpot CRM to ensure consistent progress and visibility.

Direct Collaboration with Founders & Product:
Partner closely with the GovWorx founders and product leaders to shape opportunities, influence roadmap discussions, and deliver best-fit solutions to customers. You’ll have direct access to the people building the technology — enabling rapid response, customization, and continuous improvement.

Contracting & Negotiation:
Lead all aspects of quote creation, pricing, and negotiation. Navigate government procurement and procurement processes with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to integrity.

Customer Success Advocacy:
Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handoff after closing. Stay engaged with your customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships for add-on sales that you will own as well.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience selling software to public safety agencies or state and local governments (911, CAD, RMS, QA/QI, or similar).

  • A proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas and driving meaningful results.

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills — comfortable leading engaging product demos and conversations with technical and operational audiences alike.

  • Familiarity with 911 center operations, public safety procurement, and government buying cycles.

  • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving ability, and organizational discipline.

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or equivalent platforms.

  • A self-starter mindset with exceptional follow-through and accountability.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences, customer visits, and regional meetings.

What Success Looks Like
  • You consistently exceed revenue goals and expand GovWorx’s footprint within your region.

  • You confidently demonstrate and articulate the value of CommsCoach to public safety leaders nationwide.

  • Customers view you as a trusted advisor who helps them modernize and strengthen their organizations.

  • Your success contributes to a mission that directly improves the daily lives of 911 professionals and the communities they serve.

Why GovWorx
  • Uncapped commission structure – your success drives your income.

  • A fast-growing national pipeline with strong momentum and established brand trust in public safety.

  • Direct access to company leadership – work alongside the founders and product team to influence deals and deliver impact.

  • Competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and an entrepreneurial culture built on transparency, collaboration, and respect for public safety professionals.
