Their platform includes tools to manage compliance with industry-specific regulations like Federal income tax code section 280E and state- specific requirements for employee registration and badging. They provide an ecosystem of industry experts specializing in 280E tax law, accounting, human resources, cannabis corporate law, and banking.

Job Description

The Opportunity:

Have you been waiting for the right payroll sales opportunity to break into an exploding industry as the next step in your career? We are looking for energetic, highly motivated, driven sales professionals who are tech savvy and exert natural payroll sales instincts to join our client's sales department!  This is an uncapped, high commission role.  You will receive thorough training to kick-start your career.  Employees who demonstrate high performance and commitment will have the opportunity for career development and advancement within sales.

The Role:

  • Become an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face, which can be solved with inbound marketing strategies
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for our client's suite of products and solutions
  • Follow up on highly qualified opportunities at small and mid-sized companies
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance the company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

Energetic, passionate, enthusiastic payroll business experts who have experience in a startup environment with the ability and willingness to close a mix of deals in the Cannabis industry.

  • 2-3 years experience in Payroll Sales
  • Experience in a BDR supported or cold-calling sales environment
  • Experience working with small business owners, marketers, and executives
  • A sharp focus on your goals
  • The ability to advance the vision of the department
  • Street smarts and emotional intelligence
  • Powerful work ethic
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
  • Superior communication skills
  • Exceptional closing skills
  • Experience in the Cannabis industry a plus, though not required
  • Experience in a startup environment, if possible
  • Evidence that you can be a  Top Producer, if possible
  • Comfortable with MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and a CRM (SalesForce experience preferred)
