Position Summary:
Discovery Life Sciences is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Executive to join our growing commercial team. In this role, you will support business development efforts by developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing sales opportunities, and helping drive new and repeat business within an assigned territory.
The ideal candidate is an organized, customer-focused professional with strong communication skills, a passion for the life sciences industry, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
A Day in the Life of an Account Executive at Discovery Life Sciences:
- Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Scientific teams to support customer needs and advance projects.

Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in biotechnology, life sciences, sales, or related field.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Continuously learn and grow, taking advantage of opportunities for professional development and attending tech conferences.
Compensation and Benefits:
Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $50,000-$85,000 (base plus commission). Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. Your annual salary is only one part of your total compensation package. Other benefits include:

Location, work hours, and application details:
- Remote US – eastern or central time zone
- Flexible work schedule, start time between 7am and 9am local time
- Less than 5% domestic or international travel required for mandatory site meetings and trainings
