Account Executive, Shopper Experiences
Do you live at the intersection of social media, ad-tech, and consumer behavior? Are you energized by helping brands turn followers into shoppers, engagement into revenue, and data into creative media strategy?
SPINS is looking for an Account Executive, Social Media & Ad-Tech Partnerships to join our Shopper Experiences team. In this role, you’ll partner with leading CPG and wellness brands to power their social and retail media campaigns with SPINS’ rich shopper data and behavioral insights.
This is your chance to bring together social media strategy, data storytelling, and ad-tech innovation—and shape how brands connect with today’s digital-first shopper.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell Smarter Across Channels: Drive new business and account growth with CPG brands and agencies across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and retail media networks.
- Build Data-Driven Campaigns: Translate SPINS’ shopper and purchase data into actionable media strategies—shoppable ads, social commerce integrations, influencer amplification, and omnichannel activation.
- Craft the Narrative: Lead client conversations using insights to tell powerful brand stories that link social engagement to real-world purchase behavior.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, and product to develop ad-tech solutions that boost campaign ROI and audience precision.
- Expand Partnerships: Manage a portfolio of mid-to-large brands, focusing on paid social strategy, creative optimization, and audience segmentation.
- Innovate in Social Commerce: Stay on top of emerging media trends—shoppable video, creator collaborations, and full-funnel performance marketing—and bring those ideas to clients.
- Optimize Performance: Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach.io, Google Analytics, and Ads Manager to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and track success metrics.
Education and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in social media sales, ad-tech, digital partnerships, or retail media.
- Proven success selling or strategizing across paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn Ads) and/or retail media networks (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Instacart).
- Strong understanding of CPG marketing, influencer ecosystems, and shoppable media formats.
- Passion for data-driven storytelling and connecting social engagement with measurable business outcomes.
- Skilled at building long-term client relationships and delivering consultative, insight-led recommendations.
- Comfortable navigating conversations with media buyers, brand marketers, and digital strategy leads.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (Salesforce, Outreach.io, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Entrepreneurial, creative, and collaborative—thrives in fast-moving, growth-oriented teams.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Hiring Range: $90k/yr-$105k/yr. In addition, this role is eligible for up to a $95k commission potential.
