• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:

• The Insights Team Intern supports a strategic analytics function within Network Technology Services by contributing to data analysis, Tableau dashboard development, and AI-driven automation initiatives that empower cross-functional teams to make faster, data-driven operational decisions.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports using SQL, Excel, and Tableau to track network performance metrics
• Support cross-domain data analysis by correlating datasets across outages, customer experience, and IT systems to identify patterns and trends
• Explore and prototype AI-powered workflows and automation to streamline repetitive analysis tasks

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, and familiarity with AI/Generative AI tools. Foundational knowledge of statistics, data visualization, and relational databases preferred.
