Zinasa solely focuses on allowing students to crowdfund their tuition or academic projects from their networks. Students must give back to the communities (eg: volunteer work and donate blood) after raising money. Students can update their academic progress as well as their contribution to social causes. Based on a student's updates, her supporter can make comments about her. This would help potential supporter to make objective decision whether or not to fund this student. In addition, students can only crowdfund per semester. This semester-based method would motivate the student to strive in academic and social contributions so she can get tuition funding again for the next semester. Zinasa also allows potential supporters to search students by Ethnicity, Gender, Field of Study and Location, The purpose of this advance search is to make it easy for supporters to find an underrepresented student in a particular field.
