Benchmark Survey: Vestmark uses an industry survey as its primary benchmarking tool. HR researches salary bands at the beginning of the salary planning process utilizing this survey.

Platform: Vestmark has implemented a compensation platform that provides competitive real-time market data for all jobs as well as reporting for Pay Equity and Pay Transparency. 

Salary Band Process:

The company maintains a structured approach to compensation management:

  1. Benchmarking: HR researches salary bands using market data from a professional industry survey
  2. Salary bands: Salary bands include department, role, level, salary range, bonus pay when applicable, and RSU allocations
  3. Compensation Structure & Implementation: Approved salary bands are imported into Applicant Tracking System, providing hiring managers with secure, unified access to salary ranges during the recruiting process

Annual Review Process

Vestmark has a pay for performance culture provided through our an annual performance review and compensation cycle where compensation decisions receive final approval from senior leadership before being communicated to employees.
