In simplest terms <em>SUTU </em>is a trade post/barter site for entrepreneurs, developers, programmers, designer, lawyers, producers, established businesses (large and small, digital and with a physical presence, service and product) and anyone else who has that X factor of surplus (skill, space, product or service) and also has something that he or she wants/needs.</p><p><strong>An example!</strong></p><p>Stacy is a website designer with several small projects and would like to work out of an office but without the direct expenses of renting and maintaining such space.</p><p><em>ChampagneDaily </em>(one of our other small projects <a href="http://www.ChampagneDaily.com" target="_blank" title="ChampagneDaily">www.<em>ChampagneDaily</em>.com</a>) has an extra office that is not being used and wants their website redesigned (This, in fact, is true. We do want a new website).</p><p>Stacy and ChampagneDaily find each other on <em>StartUpTradeUp </em>and agree that 9 months of office space at <em>ChampagneDaily</em> is an even trade for Stacy designing their new website…. and that’s it. Everyone wins!</p><p>The site is also open to connecting non-barter/trade transactions.</p><p><strong>Another example? Our pleasure…</strong></p><p>Dan owns a company that supplies custom computers and other hardware to specialty firms and individuals. He wants to build his brand and gain exposure but doesn’t have all the contacts in place to make it feasible with his busy schedule.</p><p>Stephanie and Chris are in the midst of launching a new online social platform that will connect all types of specialty industries and would benefit from an upgrade in their computers. They also have a very wide network of contacts and clients to boost their site’s relevance and popularity.</p><p>They find each other on <em>StartUpTradeUp</em>!
