Designs telecommunications, electronic safety and security, audiovisual, structured cabling, and smart building systems for new construction and renovation projects. Translates client requirements into technical designs, drawings, and specifications; surveys existing buildings; applies industry standards; and supports projects from needs assessment through construction and commissioning. Collaborates with architects, MEP engineers, senior consultants, project executives, and clients in a hybrid role based in Boulder, Colorado, with 10–15% travel.

Mechanical Engineering Interns gain hands-on experience supporting engineering design projects, working with mentors, coordinating across disciplines, developing CAD drafting skills, and applying engineering concepts to real-world challenges. Responsibilities include owning portions of projects, contributing to design packages, managing time effectively, communicating with project teams, and balancing academic commitments.

Electrical Engineering Interns will use Revit and potentially AutoCAD to assist with electrical system design, lighting layouts, power distribution, and fire alarm systems for commercial projects. They will perform basic electrical engineering calculations, develop attention to detail and communication skills, and visit construction jobsites while learning about engineering design and construction.
