Teams at Matter Family Office

Own day-to-day accounting relationships for a portfolio of client families and related entities. Review financial statements and bookkeeping, oversee accounts payable and payroll, perform budget-versus-actual analysis, support forecasting, participate in audits, coordinate with external professionals, prepare client meetings, and mentor Staff Accountants. The role requires accurate, confidential, client-facing financial management in a fast-paced environment.

Manage client portfolio data in Addepar and Arch, produce monthly/quarterly/annual performance, net worth and liquidity reports, validate transactions with investment managers, build Excel models/macros, prepare ad hoc analyses, train analysts, and improve reporting processes while preserving client confidentiality.
