The Futures App

The Futures App, Inc (TFA) is a fast-growing sports tech start-up that was founded in 2021 by three former players (Jake Hirabayashi, Colin Brophy & Ryan Braun). The initial product was largely inspired by Jake’s time playing for the Minnesota Twins. While playing for the Twins, Jake & his teammates were dissatisfied with how most of the instruction was organized and disseminated throughout the org. So he designed a prototype and pitched some of the Twins Staff. After getting early validation from their staff Jake, Colin & Ryan started working together to raise capital, build a stage appropriate team & build an MVP. We launched TFA in August of 2022 with a single SoCal baseball organization so we could be hands on with our customer and learn as much as possible. Since then we have grown rapidly and now sport a customer base that exceeds 75 organizations from across the country and at every level of amateur sports.
