What are some things you learned at the company?
I’ve learned how to have transparent discussions with clients about their challenges! I listen intently and focus on solutions. I’ve learned that consultative communication helps me save time and helps my clients become more efficient. Lastly, I’ve discovered that oftentimes attitude separates a good outcome from a bad one.
How do you empower your team to be more creative?
I think this starts in the interview process and something we try and talk about. We give our SDR candidates an assignment to show their creativity and explain how they’d solve a complex problem. How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?
I make it clear that everyone is welcome at the “Support Fort.” I’m always available; I don’t want anyone to worry about sending a message late at night. Round-the-clock communication is necessary with the time difference across our offices. My team, and the rest of Accelo, knows that I’m genuine and transparent, and they can talk to me.
