RTD A train service from Union Station to DIA to begin this weekend
The new University of Colorado A Line commuter rail train to Denver International Airport will make its first official run at noon on Friday. With six stops between Union Station and DIA, the train is capable of transporting travellers from the heart of Denver to the airport in under 40 minutes. Boulder Startup Week releases 2016 schedule
Boulder Startup Week released the highly-anticipated schedule for their 2016 event this week. The event will take place May 16-20 and will have dozens of sessions following different tracks like “Change the Ratio,” “Early Stage Startup” and “Social Good.” There will also be a “University” track, featuring events planned in partnership with Spark Boulder and art events on CU Boulder’s campus. TapInfluence raises $14M in new round
Boulder’s TapInfluence announced this week they’ve raised $14 million in a Series B-1 round. In a blog post, the company detailed that the round was led by Noro-Moseley Partners, with participation from existing investors Grotech Ventures and Access Venture Partners and new investor Knollwood Investment Advisory. Webroot adds to leadership team
Broomfield cybersecurity company Webroot announced this week the addition of two new members of their leadership team. They’ve appointed Neil Stratz as senior vice president of worldwide business sales and Chad Bacher as senior vice president of product strategy and technology alliances. Sovrn acquires OnScroll, taking the company international
Boulder’s Sovrn announced this week they’ve acquired OnScroll, a London-based adtech company that ensures digital ads are viewable when audiences are engaged. The acquisition means Sovrn is now an international company, with offices in Boulder, Denver, New York and London. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
