Colorado is getting a new tech company and several new tech jobs after a Delaware-based startup selected Denver as its new headquarters.
The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, a governmental office that promotes job growth by partnering with businesses, announced on Monday that HNA Live will relocate to the Mile High City.
HNA Live is a data and artificial intelligence company that optimizes manufacturing processes by reducing the materials used and the time it takes to complete tasks. Using AI and 3D capabilities, it creates data visualizations that help improve manufacturing operations. The company’s platform also provides insights meant to reduce material waste.
By moving to the Mile High City, the startup expects to create more than 36 new jobs in sales, engineering, executive and administrative positions. The average salary for the new roles will be $99,028 per year, according to a statement.
Cooper Mojsiejenko, CEO at HNA Live, told Built In that the company is finalizing its office selection and expects to open the new headquarters during Q1 of 2023.
According to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, HNA Live evaluated 10 U.S. cities for its headquarters relocation, but Mojsiejenko said all signs pointed to Denver.
“The workforce is talented, the city’s central location makes it easy to do business across the country and innovative tech and real estate ecosystems will help the heart of our nation solve their biggest challenges first,” Mojsiejenko said in a statement.
