Hot temperatures and hazy skies continue to make up Denver’s forecast, but the local tech scene tells a different story. Last week was full of funding rounds, company launches and expansions. Catch up on the latest tech news with the Built In Colorado Weekly Refresh.

Accept.inc was acquired. HomeLight, which has offices in San Francisco, Seattle, NYC and Scottsdale, Arizona, acquired fintech lender Accept.inc for an undisclosed amount. HomeLight is a tech platform that helps buyers and sellers find real estate agents, secure a mortgage and more. Accept.inc, on the other hand, helps buyers submit all-cash offers when purchasing a home. In addition to the acquisition, which is expected to close later this month, HomeLight announced it raised a $115 million Series D. [Colorado Inno]

York Space Systems announced an expansion. Launched in 2015, York Space Systems is an aviation and aerospace company that manufactures affordable and reliable spacecraft. The company leased an approximately 138,000-square-foot facility in the Denver Tech Center last fall and plans to begin initial manufacturing of satellites there this summer. The aerospace company also plans to add hundreds of new jobs to the area over the next few years. [Denver Business Journal]

The Mintable was featured as a Built In Future 5 startup. The Mintable launched last year to help managers address day-to-day challenges. The company has raised $6 million in seed funding and has already worked with companies like Gusto and Notion to provide manager training. The Mintable plans to continue scaling by hiring for its engineering, sales and product teams, as well as launching an AI-powered solution geared toward improving one-on-ones between managers and their direct reports. Travertine Technologies launched. The industrial chemical production and carbon dioxide removal company launched last week with $3 million from Clean Energy Ventures and Grantham Environmental Trust. Travertine is led by Laura Lammers, a former UC Berkeley professor and a leading scientist in carbonate mineralization. The fresh capital will allow Travertine to grow its Boulder team and accelerate its pilot-scale implementation next year. [Clean Energy Ventures]

Matillion received investment from Snowflake Ventures. Dual headquartered in Denver and Manchester, Matillion is a cloud data integration platform for businesses. Its platform is built on native integrations to cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery and others. Matillion and Snowflake have a history of working together to support customers like Slack, Western Union and Cisco by helping them streamline data analytics at scale. [PR Newswire]

Hotel Engine hired a new executive. The Denver-based hotel-booking platform recently hired Dave Oldershaw as its senior vice president of operations.
